Register for the Jan 2019 Rocky Mountain Yeast Meeting in Fort Collins CO!

Posted on December 4, 2018

The annual Rocky Mountain Yeast Meeting (RMYM) will be held at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO on Friday, January 11, 2019. This is a great little meeting that supports a regional collective of research scientists who use yeasts to study diverse aspects of biology. Ongoing research in the region focuses on yeast metabolism and fermentation, yeast genetics and genome stability, and yeast life history and evolution. These studies have direct impacts on industrial fermentation processes such as brewing and biofuel production as well as our understanding of our own biology, like human genetics and disease. Altogether, The RMYM provides an invaluable opportunity for yeast biologists to unite so as to discuss and solve important problems in both industrial and biomedical fields.
